Join Profoto lighters’ guild member Yaw Asiedu for a one day, in person, hands on lighting workshop. This workshop is an introduction to studio lighting and will focus on the basics of lighting, how to see, find, use, and understand one light. After all we only have one light source on the planet( the sun).
I put this workshop together with one goal in mind - to help photographers become more confident with studio lighting! In the beginning when I started photography I had to learn everything through trial and error, I would love to pass along my knowledge to others.
This workshop will focus on one light. no matter what you shoot be it fashion, beauty, portrait, or lifestyle, I believe the information from this workshop will be very helpful to you. This is not a “shoot like me” workshop, I want to show you what I know, give you tips and tricks to help you take the driver’s seat and setup your own light for the mood you’re looking to capture. I want you to be able to do your own setups when you leave the workshop. we will cover the basics / what I think is important to know about studio lighting.
This is not only an excellent learning opportunity but it’s a great way to network and be around other like-minded creatives. This workshop is small and exclusive and only open to eight (8) attendees, this allows me to focus on individuals and cater to every attendees needs. it does not matter if you are an amateur, or a full time professional specializing in an entirely different field of photography, I am sure that after this workshop you will leave with new ideas, knowledge, and inspiration to start practicing. After all practice makes perfect.
