Yaw invites you to end your 2024 with a bang and join him on his Fifth Capetown Photography Excursion. Yaw has visited the mother city multiple times. Cape Town is where Yaw’s modeling and photography career began back in 2016.The mother city has a special place in his heart and he would like nothing more than to share this beautiful city with you.
My purpose is to organize like-minded professionals together, to learn from each other and enhance their portfolios in the most beautiful location in the world. This Excursion is all about what helps you grow creatively, there is a balance of work, exploring, and socializing. The goal is for you to leave fulfilled, rested, and inspired, a memorable experience, one that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
Think of this excursion as a retreat to relax, explore, shoot, and learn. our focus will not only be on capturing beautiful images of stunning models. it’s not every day that you can visit Africa, with that in mind Yaw had organized plenty of group activities to help you see and enjoy most of what Capetown has to offer. This is a seven (7) night, Six (6) day retreat with two shoot days, and four days of activities and exploration.
Cape Town has an amazing selection of models and top agencies. As previously stated Yaw started his modeling career in Cape Town and is still signed there as a model. Yaw has contacts at some of the top agencies in the Cape Town market. Take full advantage of the beautiful locations and Yaw’s deep photographic knowledge to hone your lighting skills and expand your portfolio during out on location photoshoots. Model, hair, makeup, and styling is provided, all you need is your camera!
This retreat includes a location photography workshop hosted by Yaw Asiedu.

ACTIVITIES / EXPLORATION / EXPERIENCE
Below are the activates included in your excursion rate. An afternoon visit to Cheetah outreach for an encounter with cheetahs. Take the Cable Car up to Table Mountain to see the stunning views of Capetown from above the mountain, hike lions head mountain, visit one of south Africa’s beautiful wine Estates for tasting, spend time on the beautiful beaches Capetown has to offer like Clifton beach, have a welcome dinner at one of yaw’s favorite restaurants in Capetown, visit Boulders beach in simons town to see the African penguins, and much more!

ACCOMMODATIONS/LODGING
Lodging is included in the rate. Lodging subject to change, we will be in Cape Town during the busy season. In order to make the overall rate affordable for everyone some of the lodging might be double occupancy (2 people to a room, 2 separate beds). The Images below are an example of what the Residence could look like, this might not be the exact Residence we will be staying at.
Travel
Each individual is responsible for their own flights to Capetown. We recommend using a VPN if you have it on a private tab and searching websites like Skyscanner.com & momondo.com for affordable airfare.
Airport: Capetown International Airport [Code: CPT]
Flights are not included in the rates. Personal Transportation is not included (This includes uber, taxis, bus, train, etc). Food, Tourism Expenses not listed, Location Admissions and Personal Expenses are also not included in this rate. The exchange rate is currently 17 Rand to $1, so to be on the safe side we suggest having no less than $600 USD for spending money. You might not spend it all but just to be prepared that’s the amount we suggest.
IS CAPE TOWN SAFE?
I first visited Capetown back in 2016 and lived there for 6 months. I went back again and lived there for a year and I have been going back ever since. The only time I did not have a chance to visit was at the beginning of the Pandemic. I have never feared for my safety in Capetown.
Cape Town is a major, modern cosmopolitan South African city. As such, it is always advised to exercise the same level of vigilance you would exercise when visiting any major city in the world.
This includes ensuring you follow basic safety tips such as keeping emergency numbers on hand, avoiding carrying large sums of cash and keeping your valuables safe at all times. Cape Town has also been awarded the Safe Travels stamp by the World Travel & Tourism Council for its adherence to internationally-recognized Covid-19 protocols.
The destination is frequently cited as among the world’s best holiday destinations and has a high return visitor rate, anyone who visits Capetown once, falls in love with it, and wants to discover it again.

Waiver of Liability *
This Waiver of Liability releases YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC and its affiliated members from all liability relating to injuries that may occur {during production, on the assignment, photo shoot.}. By clicking this agreement and submitting this booking form, I agree to hold YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. I also acknowledge the risks involved in the production. These include but are not limited to physical or mental injury. I understand that I am participating voluntarily and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this production. By clicking the agreement below I forfeit all right to bring a suit against YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC or its affiliates for any reason. In return, I will receive the agreed-upon services offered. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions and all laws during the production or excursion. I will ask for clarification when needed.

Cancellation Policy *
Cancellation: (a) The Creative will be required to complete a Booking Form, upon receipt of the booking form, YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC will send an email as confirmation. Once initial payment has been received the booking will then be considered Confirmed. (b) As a result, once a booking is Confirmed, there are no refunds on sessions. All session rates are immediately applied to your production fees. In the event that the creative must cancel their attendance, they have the option to find another individual to take their spot for the session and take on their payment obligations. (c) In the event of an emergency, the creative may cancel and receive a credit towards another Excursion at a later date. All contributing parties in your session are not employees of YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC (including but not limited to makeup artist, hair stylist, models, wardrobe stylist, designers, assistants, etc.) They are considered independent contractors and NOT included in the Cancellation Policy.

Refund *
There are no refunds on Excursion unless the Excursion is cancelled by YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC. In the event that the creative must cancel their attendance, they have the option to find another individual to take their spot for the Excursion and take on their payment obligations. (c) In the event of an emergency, the creative may cancel and YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC will offer a credit. That credit will be to the discretion of YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC. There is absolutely no refund on lodging, talent booking, transportation booking, or permit fees. This refund policy is on behalf of the travel organizations that YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC works with. This policy is to protect YAW ASIEDU PHOTOGRAPHY LLC and attendees from additional expenses and to keep the rate as affordable as possible for all attending individuals.
